The Trevor Project is the leading organization providing suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ young people.
On July 17, the federal government will eliminate LGBTQ+ specialized services within the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—resources that supported nearly half of our crisis contacts just last year.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth, opening the door to similar restrictions in nearly half the country.
Trevor’s own crisis services remain active—but these setbacks are adding pressure to an already strained safety net. Now, more than ever, they need our support.
Pride is protest!
Join us in showing up for LGBTQ+ youth.
Our sister organization, Tempe Rising, is an action-oriented Indivisible chapter focused on non-violent protest in resistance to the Trump agenda. Within one month of their inception their Tesla TakeDown protests were featured on the Rachel Maddow show.
Where else would we expect to find them celebrating the life on John Lewis on July 17 than on the iconic Pedestrian Bridge in Tempe.
Please join them early in the day with large overpass signs. Register for 'Good Trouble Lives On' here:
We believe in the power of partnerships. If your group wants to join forces—or you know an organization we should meet—reach out! We're all about amplifying each other’s impact.
