Democracy thrives when we take action. In the face of rising authoritarianism, we must organize, mobilize, and lead. This virtual training is designed to equip advocates like you with the skills to build people-powered movements, defend democratic values, and inspire lasting change.
Join One Million Rising: One Million Trained, Millions More Empowered, a nationwide effort to turn knowledge into action and empower communities to resist threats to democracy.
This moment demands action. Your voice, your leadership, your commitment to change—each piece strengthens our collective resistance.
Be part of the movement. Register today and help shape the future of democracy.
Join Desert Democracy Indivisible in commemorating National Good Trouble Day this Thursday, July 17, with an afternoon of reflection, storytelling, and solidarity — indoors and out of the heat.
We’re honoring John Lewis on this day by showing the documentary of his life story shown in theaters in 2020. Special guest, Ralph Wright, who participated in the civil rights march to Montgomery in the 1960s.
We’ll gather at 11:30am and the 90 minute movie will begin at 12:15pm. Food & Beverages available for purchase.
This is more than a movie screening. It’s an invitation to reflect on how “getting in good trouble” continues to shape justice movements today. We hope you’ll be part of it.
