Desert Democracy
Central Phoenix Chapter of Indivisible!
Postcards are one of the most effective tools we have for turning out voters — and we've got thousands of "remember to vote" reminders to write before they mail out to CD-01 voters in October. CD-01 has no incumbent this cycle, which means every postcard counts!
Join us to crush the midterms together — we always have a great time doing it. We'll provide everything except stamps! If you can bring some (or a little extra to share), we'd appreciate it. Can't make it to the post office? Bring cash and we'll grab stamps for you. And if stamps aren't in the budget right now, come anyway — we've got you covered.

Whether it's joy or outrage that brings you to community, happy hour is the perfect way to show up! Join us for a relaxing happy hour on the third Wednesday of every month — the most interesting, welcoming people always come, and we win the midterms faster when we know the warriors beside us.
We'll spend just 15 minutes chatting with an expert about the upcoming ballot initiative to protect public education and rein in fraud and misuse in Arizona's voucher system.
We're happier and more powerful when we gather — even over appetizers.
Join us for our July monthly meeting — packed with updates, learning, and opportunities to take action.
📋 May Day Strong Conference Highlights
Our Research & Education Committee will share highlights from the recent May Day Strong Conference, where labor and community leaders came together to strengthen democracy, prepare for November, and build a powerful coalition for the future.
✊ Arizona Right to Dissent
We'll also learn about the Arizona Right to Dissent campaign and the effort to protect the constitutional right to boycott as a form of free speech and political expression. This presentation will explore Arizona's anti-boycott laws, their impact on free expression, and how residents can help educate the public, advocate for legislative change, and defend First Amendment rights. Whether you're new to the issue or looking to get involved, this is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and take action.

Community is our strength—and connection fuels our resistance!
Every Wednesday
🕘 9:30AM - 11:00AM
Come join us for coffee, tea, good food, and even better conversation as we build relationships and stand together.
A grassroots, bottom-up, and local effort to show our neighbors and passersby they are not the only ones furious, embarrassed, worried, and/or fed up!
Our work is powered by people — and our events are where that energy comes to life. To make it easy for our community to plug in, we maintain a live Desert Democracy events dashboard on Mobilize. It’s the central place to find everything we’re hosting: meetups, trainings, volunteer opportunities, community conversations, and action‑focused gatherings across the Valley.
The dashboard updates automatically as new events are added, so you always have the most current view of what’s happening. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’re already part of our growing community, this is the best way to stay connected and take meaningful action with us.
Visit the Desert Democracy Mobilize dashboard to see what’s coming up next.
What is Mobilize? Mobilize is a go-to destination for people-powered movements, providing nonprofits, labor unions, political campaigns, and grassroots organizers the tech needed to create a more democratic world.
Explore upcoming events, RSVP in seconds, and help build the people‑powered momentum Arizona needs.
Every dollar fuels action. Your contribution helps strengthen grassroots advocacy, support initiatives, and amplify voices who drive meaningful change. With your financial support, we can expand outreach, fund critical programs, and empower individuals fighting for a more just and equitable future. Be a change maker!
Are you concerned with the actions of this administration? No matter who you are - lifelong progressive, ex-MAGA, independent, moderate republican, socialist, libertarian, political newbie - all are welcome! We'll keep in the loop on opportunities around Phoenix and how you can get involved!
